On November 23, 2024, the Dewan Perpatih at TM Rasah Jaya, Seremban, played host to the Quality Enhancement Course for TM Negeri Sembilan Security Guards, aimed at strengthening the professionalism and skills of 18 participating security personnel. This one-day program offered a comprehensive blend of theoretical and practical sessions tailored to the daily responsibilities of security guards.
A Day of Valuable Training and Insights
The course began at 7:30 AM with participant registration, followed by an opening briefing delivered by En. Muhamat Bin Idris. The SMNS Polis Bantuan TM led a drill session, focusing on discipline and precision required for field duties.
The first session, facilitated by the Civil Defence Force of Malaysia (JPAM), covered critical hands-on topics:
- Handling Venomous Animals, equipping participants to respond to hazardous situations in operational areas.
- First Aid Training, an essential life-saving skill for emergencies.
The second session featured Tn. Hj. Zainal Abdullah, who shared insights into the specific responsibilities of security guards under the SMNS framework, emphasizing their vital role in safeguarding TM’s assets and premises.
OSHE and Prozas Security Management in Focus
The course resumed with a third session led by Pn. Hayati, focusing on Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (OSHE). This session highlighted the importance of compliance with workplace safety and health standards.
The fourth and final session, conducted by En. Ainul Baha from Prozas Security, provided an in-depth overview of general security guard management, empowering participants with effective management strategies for their daily operations.
